Child Cause Mission:
Provide a peer network for teens affected by AIDS and substance abuse through sports and the arts.

Child Cause Purpose: 1) Speak/workshops on family systems & addiction.
                                             2) Build our teen peer network, Peer Creatives Academy.

Our Founder:
Stephanie Castagnier founded Child Cause because of her overwhelming need to help teens affected by AIDS and substance abuse.  Her mission is to mentor, raise awareness, educate, assist prevention and motivate teens affected by AIDS and substance abuse in the United States and Canada.  Her goal is to remove the stigma teens face associated with substance abuse!  Substance abuse survivors should be proud to win the battle they fight and not hide this disease in shame.

As an AIDS orphan having lost both parents at a young age and raised in a home with a father addicted to drugs, she has the compassion and understanding to reach out to kids from underprivileged surroundings living with these secrets.

Stephanie was able to overcome her childhood and went on to graduate from a highly ranked University and pursue a successful career in finance with a promise to herself that one day she would give back.

She currently lives in Chicago and is originally from Montreal.  Our outreach is across the United States and Canada.
